Meet the panel that wants to innovate public services

In a growing city and ever changing society, innovation and fresh ideas are vital in order to ensure good life quality for the citizens, now and in the future.

We gathered a panel of speakers with experience, knowledge and ideas in the area of innovation, public services and sustainability for a panel conversation about innovating public services on September 12th, 3:30-5:00 pm at Gather festival. Together we explore the challenge to accelerate innovation in the public sector to meet the global sustainability goals.

The panelists

David Fredman – Operations manager at Heartrunner 
As operations manager at Heartrunner, David supports the implementation of an award-winning system that alert volunteers to help in case of a nearby cardiac arrest. With a Ph.D from KI’s Department of Medicine, David is also a registered nurse and member of the Center for resuscitation science at Karolinska Institutet.

Liselothe Engelgren – Chief procurement manager at City of Stockholm 
As chief procurement manager within the City of Stockholm, Liselothe is responsible for the procurement of central contract areas for the entire organisation. With vast experience in service and product development, she is uses her skills to understand and support what’s most sustainable for the public.

Dhakshayene Holmgren  – Project coordinator Tech Tensta 
With a background in the start-up world of digital innovation, Dhakshy brings her creative and collaborative mindset into the newly-established world of Tech Tensta. By supporting young people to explore technology, creativity and their own ability to tackle societal challenges, she merges diverse  cultures as one with passion and a strong willpower.
